The Hundertwasser Golden Cupola has arrived in Whangārei

Nearly all successful community projects begin with a vision and are brought to life with the help of supporters and volunteers. It is very fitting then that the 8 metre high, 3.5 tonne, gold leaf cupola was placed atop Whangārei's Hundertwasser Art Centre at the conclusion of volunteer week.

Budget 2021 Response

The Broken Compass Budget – beneficiaries were the focus of this year’s budget primarily because the cost of living, especially housing, has risen so much. The implications are - projected debt FY21 113.7 billion, increasing to a projected debt FY25 180.8 billion.  That’s 100,000 dollars of debt for every New Zealand household.

ANZAC DAY 2021

What a difference a year makes, during the early hours of April 25, Kiwis throughout New Zealand were once again able to gather together for the annual remembrance of those who have died in service to their country.   Commemorations held throughout the day seemed exceptionally poignant as we were reminded of the pandemic lockdowns we faced just last year that restricted our ANZAC day gatherings.
